Most medical treatments have been designed for the “average patient”. This “one-size-fits-all” approach is no longer sufficient to ensure the optimal health of the patient. Our genes determine who we are: from physical charasteristics like height and hair color, to the less obvious differences, such as our likelihood of getting certain diseases, and our ability to respond to certain medications.
